Welcome to The Scottish Goldsmiths Trust

After many months of planning we are very excited to launch our new website where you will find information about who we are, our projects, opportunities, events and history. The Scottish Goldsmiths Trust was founded by The Incorporation of Goldsmiths of the City of Edinburgh in the year 2000. Our aims remain to support and promote the education, art and craft of Scotland’s gold and silversmithing heritage and trade. The SGT will also manage the collections of the Incorporation of Goldsmiths and their hallmarking archive.
