Scottish Art Colleges Graduate Showcases: 2021
As the end of the academic year nears, Scotland’s arts colleges are celebrating the work of their 2021 graduates in unique and adaptive ways. Find more information and details below on events hosted by the art colleges taking place this summer across Scotland.
Edinburgh College of Art
Join Edinburgh College of Art on Friday 18 June at 6 PM for the launch event of the 2021 Graduate show. This event will feature a selection of graduates who will share their final year work and experiences of completing their degrees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the launch event, the 2021 Graduate show website will be live, where you can take an in-depth view of the work of this year’s ECA graduates.

The Graduate Show 2021 will be online from 18 June to 27 August 2021. More details about the launch and upcoming events can be found here.
The Glasgow School of Art Graduate Showcase 2021 will launch on www.gsashowcase.net on Wednesday 9 June.
The digital Showcase will feature work by graduating students from all undergraduate and 2-year postgraduate programmes across the Schools of Design, Fine Art and Simulation & Visualisation and Innovation School, and Stage 3, 4 and 5 students in The Mackintosh School of Architecture.
Graduates will be able to add new work to their profiles for 12 months, offering the opportunity to showcase their professional practice. From new ideas around cancer care and city design to work addressing refugee support and exploring design and sustainability in the time of the coronavirus pandemic the Graduate Showcase 2021 will feature work in fine art and sculpture, photography, fashion and textiles, innovation, architecture, product design, illustration, graphic design, silversmithing and jewellery, sound design and more.
A programme of associated core and fringe events will run from 9 - 20 June.
Join Gray’s School of Art for their Digital Degree Show 2021, launching 9 July. The degree show will run online from 9-19 July 2021, allowing you to explore the exciting and inspiring projects of this years graduate artists and designers across a range of disciplines in a virtual environment.
Join Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design for the Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Showcase online from 11-21 June 2021. This showcase celebrates the achievements of this year’s graduates, and give viewers the opportunity to browse their work. Work showcases covers a range of artistic disciplines and encourages creative work across multiple media and genre.
Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of DJCAD says ‘Our graduates are the future. They are the future of the creative and cultural sector and the future of society. I hope you will support them and take the time to explore their online showcase’.
The DJCAD Graduate Showcase will launch online on Friday 11 June at 6pm.
